SUMMER DAY CAMPS

The Master's Inn will be offering day camps this summer. If you are local to the central Virginia area and would like to send you children to the Master’s Inn we would love to have them spend their summer days with us. Children can attend any one or all weeks of day camp that we are offering this summer. Day camps will begin on Monday June 13th and will run through Friday August 6th. We will have skills themes for each week. If the child comes for the entire summer the skills will build from week to week. If they only come for one week they will start from basics and progress through the week. Along with the skills weeks we will have high ropes time with climbing walls, ziplines, and more, swimming time at our lake and pool, paintball for children grades 5 and up, field games, horseback riding, and more. The day camps will run from 9 am – 5 pm and will include lunch. The skills weeks are as follows:
Horsemanship – Learning how to ride, learning parts of the horse and saddle, learning how to take care of your horse as well as more. The riders will help our ranch staff run and organize our once a week rodeo where we encourage parents to attend and view their child’s progress.
Swimming – Learning the basics of swimming techniques as well as how to swim and act responsibly around water.
Outdoor Skills – Learning about camping, hiking, fire-starting and all necessary skills to hike and camp out. Also learn wilderness safety as well as archery and riflery . Includes a guided hiking trip at the Peaks of Otter.
June 13 – 18: Horsemanship

June 27 – July 2: Horsemanship
July 5 – 9: Horsemanship
July 12 – 16: Swimming
July 19 – 23: Swimming
July 26 – 30: Outdoor skills
August 2 – 6: Outdoor skills

RUBEN STUDDARD CONCERT A HUGE SUCCESS

The Master's Inn hosted a benefit concert with the former American Idol Winner at Thomas Road Baptist Church. It was so amazing to see all the people turn out. Ruben's show was awesome as well. The music was great and his testimony was better! Thanks to all who helped out and came to the show.

YOUTH PASTOR RETREAT

This March we will have a youth pastor retreat. The dates for the event will be March 4-6. We want any of our youth pastors who need to get away and recharge, who want to enjoy the Master’s Inn camp experience, and who want to hear from great speakers to be our guests for these days. The weekend will be completely free of charge as way for us to say thank you for serving on the firing lines of youth ministry and for bringing your students to us. We will be featuring Dr. Ergun Caner Head of the Liberty University Seminary as our keynote speaker on March 5th as well as others. We will also have round table discussions, recreation, and more, as a chance to encourage and further the ministry of our local churches. SUMMER CAMP OVER

Summer camp has officially come to an end. We had an amazing summer. We would like to say thank you to all of the youth pastors and children's pastors who brought their students out to camp. We would also like to thank all of you who prayed and continue to pray for this ministry. God was definitely at work here at the Master's Inn. We saw more than 70 students and children accept Christ this summer and countless more make decisions to return to holy living. It was an amazing summer!
NEW FOAL BORN AT THE RANCH

10:00 am on Monday morning Trinity was born at the Cross Creek Ranch to Penny. Trinity is a beautiful young appaloosa filly. Both mother and daughter a doing very good. We hope that you all make it over to the ranch this spring and summer season to meet Trinity.
NEW CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR HIRED

We have finally hired a children's director. His name is Adam Mullins. Adam has work as a counselor at TMI for the last 2 years. He will finish his degree in early elementary education from Liberty this semester and join or staff after that. To learn more about Adam click here.

SPEED CHANNEL AT TMI

Speed Channel was recently at The Master's Inn filming some team building exercises with 2 Craftsman Truck Series Teams, Stacy Compton and Dennis Setzer. We have partnered with Bobby Hamilton Racing to help train and strengthen their team. 2 weeks ago Dennis Setzer won the pole and finished second in the Camping World 200.

CAMP MISSIONS TRIP TO MEXICO

The Master's Inn Staff will be going to Monterrey Mexico from March 15-22 to work with Sierra Linda a camp much like ours. While we are there we will be helping them with facility upgrades as well as gaining a knowledge and understanding of how we run camp in the states. Our goal is to equip them to be able to run an effective Christian outdoor camp that shares the gospel with Monterrey. Please pray for us as we are gone!
